Last weekend, we chased and photographed my second cousin, Mandy, around the playground til we were ready to drop (at least I was). Usually shy and subdued at family gatherings, we experienced another side of her–one bursting with joy and playfulness as she climbed up and down, and up and down the plastic slides. It was refreshing to watch (she’s so cute!), let alone kick off our slippers and join in on the fun! It also felt great to get behind the camera again. Lately I’ve been shooting exclusively in manual mode, which is quite challenging… but thank goodness Eric is my ultra reliable “second shooter”… or perhaps I am his, since he usually gets the good shots while I’m still fumbling around with the settings. Anyway, here are a few favorites, with my most-favorites being the last two, taken by Eric. Enjoy!
