The look in his eyes said it’s Friday, dear, I’m exhausted. Can’t we just stay home and watch a movie? as we scurried around collecting our gear. To which I blinked no, dear, let’s go… it’s a talent show, it’ll be fun!!  Let it be known that Eric should always listen to me because, as usual, I was right!  We had a blast watching the students sing and dance, but more incredible than their talent, their enthusiasm was just through the roof. They cheered each other on with posters and LOUD applause… so LOUD that at one point their screams startled and literally knocked me over from my kneeling position… it was crazy! But we left pumped and energized, wanting to relive our middle school days… well maybe not THAT much, but you get the idea.  We also agreed to enroll our future daughter in ballet lessons.  Yeah!  Some of my favorite pics:
